Field Measurement of Air Velocity and Temperature Factors that Influence the Thermal Comfort in Shuttle Bus

Good public transportation that can offer a pleasant peaceful and relaxing environment is necessary for improving people's interest in using it. Thermal comfort determined this study by measuring the air velocity temperature of air-conditioning from outlet. Both data are taken digital anemometer thermocouple with three replications reproducibility. For collection, 10-row shuttle bus was held immobile 30 minutes. According to data, outlet 5 received highest lowest temperature, at 9.12 ms-1 13.6 °C, respectively. It also discovered design ducting impacts reachability cooled farthest outlets, adversely affecting target cool passenger comfortability. suggested order promote attractiveness transportation, inner compartment system hot countries should prioritise thermal comfort.
